フリントリバーの正規品についてのお知らせ
弊社商品が正規品でなくB級品だと思わせるホームページがあり、弊社にも多くの方々からお問合せを頂いております。皆様を混乱させましたこと深くお詫び申し上げます。現在まで個別対応させていただいておりましたが、ホームページ上で、弊社とフリント社との取り引きについてご説明させていただきます。
私共としましてはフリント社がB級品を作っているという事実があれば、フロント社の商品の取り扱いを中止せざるを得なくなります。その理由は、どのような事情で、正規商品にB級品が混合するかもしれないと言う可能性があるからです。そのような不安定で安全性に問題があるかもしれない商品を私どもはお客様に販売するわけには行きません。
そのようなことでB級品があるということはフリントリバー社の商品が信頼できない商品となってしまいますので私共も真相を確かめるべくフリント氏に問い合わせをし、次のような手紙をいただく経緯となりました。
フリント社の代表でありますJIM FLINT氏より頂きました下記の手紙によりますと、フリントリバー社は米国内においては、ディストリビューター制度を設けております。そのために、米国のディストリビューターから購入し、日本に輸出している業者が５社～６社あるらしいことは認識していると書かれております。
弊社は、ディストリビューターでなく、アメリカの輸出業者を通して、正規にフリントリバー社から輸入しており、フリントリバー社が提出する Certificate of Origin for Pet Food （フリント社社長JIM FLINT氏の署名入り、公証人の署名入り）を元に、アメリカ政府の農水省にあたる US Department of Agriculture より、正式なEXPORT CERTIFICATEを毎回取得し、輸入しております。
下記のFLINT氏の手紙にもありますように、フリント社では海外において、アメリカ国内のようなディストリビューター制度を設けることは考えていないので、海外向けは無地の袋を使用しています。また、フリント社では、リバックして販売することも承認済みです。

We do not offer anyone an exclusive contract - there are no exclusive authorized distributors anywhere in the world. There are people that have signed our standard distributor agree which authorizes them to sell FRR products under the terms and conditions in the Policy and Procedure Manual. I would guess there are 5 or 6 people that sell to Japanese customers. Everyone can purchase at the same price as anyone else, subject to quantity, packaging, freight and any other expenses outside of the food cost. We will not re-bag FRR brand products other than the sizes we currently offer.
We have no problem with products being - rebagged outside of the USA.. Generally, offshore accounts are sold in plain white bags - for the reason we do not want to set up any FRR distributor structure in Japan. We do ship offshore orders in printed FRR bags from time to time - as in your case and in case where other distributors get customer orders. We do not ship individual customers outside of USA - and any product shipped is required to be handled by the Distributor..We do not even ship to Alaska,Hawaii or Canada - although product is sold in those areas, As far as we are concerned the product can be rebagged outside of the USA - if it fits the marketplace.
